Amazing things are happening here! Join us each Sunday as we welcome and celebrate the richness and diversity of all God’s people, regardless of where they’ve come from or where they are in their life’s journey.
Thanksgiving Eve will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 22 with a service at 1:00PM and again at 8:00PM. We will also be collecting canned goods for the Queens Federation of Churches Food Pantry please bring them if you would like to participate.
On Sunday December 3rd, at 3PM - The Sacred Music Chorale will sing Carl Maria von Weber's Mass in E Flat as well as their Christmas Card - carols that everyone will enjoy. Please contact the church for details.
In 1517, on October 31, Martin Luther posted his 95 theses on the door of the Wittenberg Church. This marks the 500th Anniversary of that momentous event. Although Luther and no one else, realized it at the moment, it was a day that changed the world. We need to celebrate that! Our bulletin will have something written by Luther or written by someone else about him. We need to know who this man was and we need to know again why we are Lutherans!
Do you have loved ones or friends that need prayer? Pastor has begun a prayer ministry at Saint John's and is seeking a group that can devote ten minutes per day to pray for the church and all of those in need. Please call the church office and give generously as Jesus instructed when requesting prayer.
